I have found an alternative...

and they're freakin amazing.

Introducing: Maybelline Color Tattoo 24 hour cream gel eyeshadows

Bad to the Bronze

Audacious Asphalt

Bold Gold

Too Cool

Left to Right: Bold Gold, Bad to the Bronze, Audacious Asphalt, Too Cool

Usage: You can use these by itself or use it as a base for an eye shadow to give it more intensity. (Which is usually what these are used for).

Pros & Cons

Pros

1. The price. Way cheaper than its competitor, MAC paint pots are $17.50. These babies range from 5-7 dollars, depending on where you get them from. I got these from Walmart and they were about 5 dollars each, yay!

2. Color payoff = amazing. These eye shadows are super long lasting

3. Doesn't crease! For oily eyelids like mine, these don't crease. Which usually happens when I wear a paint pot from MAC.

4. Long Lasting. 24 hours? I think so.

Cons

1. Color selection. Obviously these are fairly new so it doesn't have a whole variety of colors. I would love to see a black one, which would be paired perfect under a smokey eye.

Chanel Haute Couture SS12

All aboard Chanel Airlines

I am quite shocked at this collection. Where is the high fashion? Where is the couture? This seemed like a regular Chanel fashion show to me, not Haute Couture. One thing I did love was the concept of the background area (looks like they're in an airplane), Karl is a genius when it comes to venues for his shows. Nevertheless, the clothes were very beautiful and blue. Literally, every outfit was blue. I will be updating more about my favorite Haute Couture ss12 shows soon.

Those that know me well know that I have the BIGGEST sweet tooth ever! And one of my favorite sweet treats are Macarons. No, not those coconut macaroons. It's pronounced Mah-ka-RON...almost like your about to end it with a G. It is actually a french meringue with an oh so light yet exquisite texture. It's just heavenly, and for those who have not tried one yet I demand that you run to your nearest french bakery or what have you and TRY ONE. Or all, like I usually do hehe =) 

I had to get a quick fix of these yummskies so I decided to share a great place that carries them!

The Sweet Boutique

Located in the sweetest city in the world, Sugar Land of course.

I don't know any other place in Houston that carries Macarons, and I will have to do my research to find more bakeries/shops that do. My dream is to just go to Paris, stop by Laduree, and grab boxes of these gorgeous delights. (Inshallah <3)

New artist obsession

Unfortunately for Lana, her SNL performances got her some really bad reviews/comments.

I got it I got it!

Don't you love the UPS man?! God I could just jump on the truck and get the package myself when I see him! Well....I finally got my ROMWE ring! I actually got it a few days ago. I was very surprised as I saw comments online saying shipping takes FOREVER. And I am a VERY impatient person, so Romwe.com thank you. I am pleased =) And it FITS guys, it FITS. Alhamdullilah (thank god), SRSLY. It was a one size fits all kind of deal and it was in chinese measurements. Lord. Anyways, here it is!

My sisters a better hand model, mashallah. Sigh for chubb chubb fingers like mine.

Wanting too....

Chopppp of my hurrr. No but really, I wan't a haircut. A drastic one maybe. I am quite the chicken when it comes to my hair as it is not so nice to me with new changes or any harsh things being done to it. My hair is quite thin and long. I would love to have thick luscious locks but unfortunately I was not the blessed sister in the house. I'm thinking a LOB. What's a LOB you say? LOB= Long Bob. If I ever got an actual bob and an angled one my face would look even bigger than it really is...okay ayeza stop downing yourself. But no really, we all want cuts to compliment our face no? Obsessed: YSL Arty Rings

This ring is nothing new in the fashion world right now. In fact, this gorgeous piece of art is all over the runways, blogs, you name it. Not going to lie, I discovered these gorgeous rings about a few months ago. When I saw it on a fave blog of mine, I had to track it down. When I found out that the rings were from Yves Saint Laurent, I immediately imagined my bank account slimming down. Surprisingly these rings are only about 250 dollars each (you can get it at the YSL boutiques in store or online, and Saks Fifth). Considering its a YSL piece, its not as bad as other designer goodies.

Now I'm not the biggest advocate for designer knock-offs or dupes, but I couldn't resist when I saw a look-alike of the ring on one of my favorite online fashion websites, www.Romwe.com (must check it out)

I ordered a Black one and am patiently waiting for it <3 One of these days (inshallah = god willing), I'll get my YSL arty ring.

A new start

Hello Hello!

I am super excited to finally be blogging, and I pray that I won't give up or quit last minute like I have done in the past. I'm still a bit new at this whole blogging thing, but I have gotten so much inspiration from reading amazing fashion/life blogs from the past that I finally decided to stand up and go for it! I hope I have time to update everyday, as I am a regular internet user. Hope you all like what I have to post, I will be blogging about EVERYTHING. From Fashion to food to current obsessions (which is the whole point of the blog). I might surprise some people, so lets get this thang startedddddddd =)
